πŸ“„ HLTH Europe Speaker Submission Guidelines

Speaker applications are currently only open for senior leaders from healthcare providers, payers and government. General submissions will open in December 2024.

Speaker submission

Limit to 1 submission per executive. Multiple submissions will not be reviewed.

Full panel submissions will not be accepted. Please focus on just one specific executive in each application.

Limit to submitting 3 executives from 1 organisation for consideration. We will not review any more than 3. At the end of the day, we book speakers, not companies.

Speaker Consent

All speakers must explicitly consent to their inclusion in all content submissions prior to applying. Please do not try to convince speakers to participate after they have already been submitted in an application.

Speaker Registration

Confirmed speakers (panellists/presenters/moderators) on our main agenda will receive complimentary registration for the full conference. We are not able to offer complimentary guest passes to speakers’ teams. We highly encourage everyone to register for HLTH Europe 2025 as soon as possible to take advantage of lower rates. Prices will increase as we get closer to the event. If you are selected as a speaker, your registration will be refunded or can be transferred to a colleague.

Submission Deadline

We will have two speaker applications for HLTH Europe 2025. Starting in September 2024, senior leaders from healthcare providers, payers and government can start applying. From December 2024 onwards, the application process opens for all speakers. Our speaker applications close on 31 January 2025 at 6pm CET.

Receiving a Response

We will provide a response to all who apply, regardless of whether or not we’re moving forward with your application. Responses will be made on a rolling basis, beginning in September 2024 until the agenda is completed. If HLTH Europe is interested in moving forward with your application, a member of our content team will reach out to schedule a call. We will require direct contact with the proposed speaker before final confirmation.

Speaker applications close on 31 January 2025 at 6pm CET, with final responses sent out 6 weeks after the deadline. Those who apply early within their respective application window have a greater chance at being accepted as there is a limited number of speaking opportunities within the programme. Speakers applying during the first application window who are not part of a healthcare provider, payer or government organisation, will automatically be rejected and should reapply once the general application opens in December 2024.

HLTH speakers are typically senior leaders within their sectors, with an emphasis on healthcare providers across the European ecosystem. We are particularly keen to speak to those who are looking to make announcements at the event.

Speaker Cancellations

We take confirmations seriously. If a confirmed speaker cancels at the last minute, we will not be able to work with that individual for future events. We do understand emergencies happen and we will evaluate on a case by case basis whether we accept a potential replacement. HLTH Europe reserves the right to cancel the speaking slot entirely if the initial speaker can no longer uphold their commitment.

Speaker Changes

Our content team must approve any speaker changes before a speaker invitation is extended to the potential replacement. Any speakers who are not approved by the content team are subject to cancellation by HLTH Europe.

Changes to Session Content

HLTH Europe reserves the right to cancel a session if the speaker is not able to deliver the original concept in the proposal and/or misses key deadlines.

Travel & Accommodation

HLTH does not cover travel & accommodation costs for speakers. You will find information on recommended hotels closer to the date on our website.

Speaker Compensation

Please note that sponsoring is entirely separate to speaking at HLTH Europe. We invite and select speakers for HLTH Europe based on merit (there is no 'pay to play', hence we do not accept sponsorship or payment for a speaking role). We will invite the individuals who bring original content and are interesting for our audience.

HLTH Europe also does not pay honorariums to any speakers.
