To help you make the most of your time in Amsterdam, we're delighted to be able to offer all attendees a free Amsterdam transport pass, giving unlimited travel on local bus and metro lines for the duration of the event. Pick up your pass from the registration area when you arrive to collect your badge.

✈️ Air

πŸš‚ Train

  • Amsterdam is very accessible from mainland Europe by train. With most major European cities having connections to Amsterdam Centraal station. From here you can take a further train or metro (Line 52) to the Amsterdam Rai. See below for further guidance.

🚊Train

  • Amsterdam is one of the best European connected cities. Schiphol Airport connects directly by train to both Amsterdam RAI station (9 minutes) and Amsterdam Centraal (14 minutes)
  • Please note: when buying your ticket from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or Amsterdam Centraal, you need to type 'Amsterdam RAI' (not 'RAI') to find and purchase the correct ticket

πŸš‡ Metro

  • Amsterdam has four Metro lines, connecting the different suburbs of the city.
  • Amsterdam RAI is immediately next to Europaplein station, which is on the Blue M52 line. This is a seven minute journey from Amsterdam Centraal Station.
  • You can travel on any Dutch public transport services using a contactless debit/credit card. This is operated by OV Pay (for more info)
  • A single trip on the Metro (1 hour ticket) is €3.40. This will be charged automatically when you tap in and out of any station. There are also ticket options ranging from 24 hours to 7 days.

πŸš– Taxi/Driving

  • There are many licensed taxi companies in Amsterdam. They all operate with blue licence plates and an official sign on the roof.
  • Find a list of official taxi companies on the I Amsterdam website.
  • Uber also operates from within Amsterdam and can be accessed via mobile app.
  • If you are driving, there is parking available at the RAI. please see information here. Please also check with your relevant hotel for parking options, if required.

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Cycling/Walking

  • If you are feeling active, the walk from Central Amsterdam to the RAI will take about an hour.
  • Famed for cycling, if you fancy another self-powered mode of transport you can hire a bicycle from many locations in the city, including from Centraal station and most hotels.
