💥 Market Connect: Useful FAQ's
Here you will find some frequently asked questions that you may find useful. If the answer to your question is not covered, please send us an email at connect@europe.hlth.com
Do I qualify?
There are two ways to participate in the Connect Programme, as a provider or payer leader and as a Solutions provider.
To qualify as a provider or payer leader, individuals must (a) be responsible for buying or evaluating health solutions for their companies, (b) work for an organisation type that matches one of the applicable options in the application form (c) take up to eight (8) 15-minute onsite meetings with participating solutions providers, which are based on a double opt-in process so that they are useful to everyone.
To qualify as a solutions provider, you must be a HLTH Europe sponsor, providing solutions to one of the provider or payer leader demographics - Payers, Providers, or Pharma.
I’m a healthtech/medtech/biotech startup/organisation looking to meet provider or payer leaders, do I qualify?
You may qualify for the Connect Programmes as a Solutions Provider, rather than a provider or payer leader. Your organisation can participate as a sponsor by purchasing meetings with our extraordinary provider or payer leaders by applying here.
Will I miss any agenda sessions while I am attending my Connect Program meetings?
No! We’re reformatting it this year so that no sessions will clash with the Connect Programme.
Can a colleague join my meetings?
No. You cannot bring any colleagues to your meetings. These meetings are one-to-one, and the tables will be set with only two chairs - one for you and one for the solutions provider.
However, if you have a colleague of a similar seniority and in a position to discuss potential solutions for your organisation, they may also apply.
Is there time in between each meeting?
Yes. You will have a total of up to 15 minutes for each individual meeting. There is a two-minute transition period between each meeting for provider/payer/pharma provider or payer leaders and solutions providers to move from one meeting table to the other. The tables are all in the same area.
What if the solutions provider does not show up for a scheduled meeting?
Provider or payer leaders will not be penalised for 'no show' solutions providers. If a solutions provider does not arrive within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time of the meeting, the onsite team will scan your badge to confirm your attendance. The meeting will still count towards your free ticket and (for 12 meeting requirements) your travel/hotel reimbursement.
Can I contact a solutions provider directly to request a different meeting time?
No. Meetings as part of the Connect Programme cannot be rescheduled, and they must take place in the designated Connect Programme Area and at the assigned table. Your meetings will only be scheduled during the specific Connect Programme time slots, so please plan accordingly.
What if a solutions provider reaches out to me regarding the Connect Programme prior to HLTH Europe?
We have asked solutions providers not to reach out to you regarding your Connect Programme meetings with them prior to the event. If a solutions provider does contact you directly about the Connect Programme, please let us know right away by emailing us at connect@europe.hlth.com
What if I attend HLTH Europe but do not complete any of my scheduled meetings?
If you pick up your badge onsite or otherwise attend HLTH Europe but do not complete your scheduled meetings, we will (a) not be responsible for any costs associated with your travel or hotel, and you will not receive any reimbursement, and (b) you will be invoiced for your ticket per the authorisation you agreed to at the time of registration. Failure to complete the required meetings will disqualify you for the Connect Programme for one or more future years.
When do I need to be available?
You commit to being available for all time slots dedicated for Connect Programme meetings, as listed below.
Tuesday 17 June:
Time slot TBD
Tuesday 18 June:
Time slot TBD
Your final set of eight (8) 15-minute meetings may be spread across multiple time slots; they may not be back to back.
How do I book my travel?
You are responsible for making your own travel and accommodation arrangements to attend HLTH Europe. You can book an onsite hotel room in our dedicated room blocks here. Please refer to the cancellation policy shown for your chosen hotel, as these may vary. We do not guarantee the availability of our hotel room block, and recommend you book early.
How does the Connect Programme work?
We will contact you prior to HLTH Europe to arrange your meetings using the HLTH Europe App platform. You agree to participate in this process, including:
(a) completing a short form with questions about your company and job role
(b) participating in a double opt-in process to select solutions providers for potential meetings, and
(c) adding meetings to your calendar
(b) responding to all requests within the stated deadlines. Unresponsiveness to our deadlines and outreach may prevent you from qualifying for HLTH Europe’s Connect Programme for one or more future years.
Following HLTH Europe, you agree to:
(a) provide post-event feedback on the programme and each meeting and to provide receipts for expenses where applicable.
What happens if I need to cancel or withdraw?
If you are approved for the Connect Programme but become unable to participate even though you are still with your organisation, you agree to suggest one or more substitutes from your organisation as your replacement in the programme.
Acceptance of any substitute is subject to our prior approval via email. If you cancel your participation in the Connect Programme and are not able to provide a substitute approved by us, this may result in you being placed on a blocklist that will prevent you from qualifying for HLTH Europe’s Connect Programme for one or more future years.
What do I do if my employer changes?
If participants (a) are no longer employed by, or (b) become aware prior to HLTH Europe that they will no longer be employed at the time of HLTH Europe or after HLTH Europe by the organisation based upon which they were approved to participate in the Connect Programme, they must let us know immediately upon their becoming aware so that we can cancel their participation in the program. In such cases, they may no longer be eligible to participate in the programme or to receive a travel/hotel reimbursement or complimentary HLTH Europe ticket. Failure to notify HLTH will prevent you from qualifying for the Connect Programme for one or more future years.
At all times, including following HLTH Europe, we reserve the right to only communicate with them at their work email address regardless of any other email address they may have provided or we may have otherwise used.
What is the reimbursement process for flights/hotels if I do 12+ meetings?
As the final step to receiving travel and hotel reimbursement up to the amount as agreed in writing before the event, we require that participants complete a feedback form providing specific evaluations of each meeting (we will also ask participating solutions providers to provide feedback on their meetings with them).
Please note that HLTH Europe will require up to 45 days upon reimbursement form submission to provide payment, and will not reimburse for any mileage, points, or rewards used for travel. Reimbursement is conditioned upon completing all of your scheduled meetings and submitting the feedback survey and travel/hotel receipts following the event within our stated deadlines.
