HLTH USA, HLTH Europe & ViVE Event Code of Conduct for Journalists and Content Creators
As a journalist or content creator attending HLTH USA, HLTH Europe or ViVE Event, you are granted a free pass to the event in exchange for your commitment to cover the event. We kindly request that you adhere to the following code of conduct to ensure a professional and ethical environment for all attendees.
1. Professionalism and Integrity:
- Act with professionalism and maintain the highest ethical standards in your reporting, content creation, and interactions with event participants.
- Respect the principles of responsible journalism, including accuracy, fairness, and impartiality.
2. Content Creation:
- Create content that accurately represents the event and its participants.
- Clearly disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence your coverage.
- Avoid sensationalism and misleading headlines.
3. Authenticity and Transparency:
- Identify yourself as a journalist or content creator when approaching event participants for interviews or information.
- Clearly mention your affiliation and the purpose of your attendance when interacting with attendees and speakers.
4. Respect for Privacy:
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of attendees and event participants. Obtain their consent before taking photos or recording interviews.
- Do not publish private information without consent.
5. Independence and Impartiality:
- Maintain independence in your reporting, free from undue influence or bias.
- Avoid endorsing specific products, services, or companies. If you do, clearly disclose any financial or personal interests.
6. Compliance with Event Rules:
- Follow all rules and guidelines set by HLTH USA, HLTH Europe or ViVE Event event staff.
- Comply with photography and video recording policies and any other event-specific regulations.
7. Timely Coverage:
- Commit to producing content about your experience at HLTH USA, HLTH Europe or ViVE Event or any aspect of the event within 14 days of attending.
- Communicate with event staff if you encounter any issues that may affect your ability to meet this deadline.
8. Professional Conduct:
- Treat all attendees, speakers, and event staff with respect and courtesy.
- Refrain from disruptive behavior that may impede the event experience for others.
9. Review and Correction:
- If you make errors in your reporting or content, promptly correct and acknowledge them.
- Provide a fair opportunity for those you may have negatively portrayed to respond or offer their perspective.
10. Event Organizer Collaboration:
- Collaborate with event organizers to help ensure the success of HLTH USA, HLTH Europe or ViVE Event.
- Share your coverage with event organizers for promotional purposes, as agreed upon.
Consequences of Violation:
- Violation of this code of conduct may result in the revocation of your event pass and future event attendance opportunities.
By attending HLTH USA, HLTH Europe or ViVE Event as a journalist or content creator, you commit to upholding these principles and ensuring the event's integrity and professionalism.
