Marshalling Yard

HLTH will utilize a marshalling yard and it is mandatory that all carriers use it.

The marshalling yard is where all carriers must check in to deliver or pick up freight. The carrier will wait in the yard until a dock space is available to unload.


During move-in, carriers are moved to the dock on a first come/first serve basis.

  • All Carriers (except UPS and FedEx) must check in at the T3 Expo Marshalling Yard prior to being sent to show site.
  • All Carriers must provide certified weights for each shipment. Failure to provide certified weights can cause delays.
  • Carriers will be assigned a driver number after check-in & unloaded according to target times, then check-in times.

During move-out, the carrier must check in before the carrier check-in cut-off time noted on the exhibitor schedule. Carriers picking up freight must wait until all shipments being retrieved from the event are ready to be loaded. Please click here for the marshalling yard information and map.

• Take St Rose Pkwy to Raiders Way

• Turn Right on Raiders Way 1.3 miles to T3 Expo


Hand carrying

Hand carrying by the exhibitor is only allowed if the item is easily hand carried by one person without the use of any equipment such as a hand truck/dolly.

If hand carrying is possible for your freight then you do not need to go through the marshalling yard as you may carry it with you into the convention center.


Material Handling

If your freight needs to go via the loading dock (e.g. cannot be hand carried as defined above) you will need to book material handling via our general contractor, T3 and charges will apply. This ensures the safe and smooth transportation of goods in and out of the marshalling yard.

Material handling charges include the following:

  • Receiving the freight at the advance warehouse (if applicable)
    • Storing it before the event (if applicable)
    • Loading it and moving it to the show (if applicable)
  • Or receiving freight at show site
  • Weighing of freight
  • Delivering it to sponsor's booth
  • Removing any empty crates, etc and storing them during the event
  • Returning the empty crates, etc to your booth when the show closes
  • Bringing your freight from the booth to the loading dock
  • Loading the freight to your carrier

Material handling charges are billed by weight. If the shipment is under 50Ibs a flat rate of $79(pre-tax) per box applies.

All shipments over 50Ibs will be billed at the $2.10/Ib rate assuming it is received/delivered during standard time hours and within delivery windows. See more details here


Cartload Service

To alleviate issues associated with exhibitors carrying small exhibit materials during move-in, T3 Expo is pleased to provide a Cartload Service. This service will be available during move-in and move-out.


Cartload Services are designed for use by privately owned vehicles (POVs). A POV is considered to be any vehicle that is primarily designed to transport passengers, not cargo or freight. Examples include cars, pickup trucks, passenger vans, taxis, limos, etc. Bobtails, box trucks or pickup trucks pulling small trailers are not considered POVs and Material Handling rates will apply. No cartload can have a combined weight of more than 300 lbs.

Material Handling charges will apply to any loads greater than the limits listed above.
